Hair Care
Not too long ago my husband and I were having a discussion about hair care ( I buy a lot) when someone made the comment to him that he didn’t have much hair to care for. Normally I try not to laugh about those things, just in case my husband is sensitive about it, but when I saw him laughing, I jumped at the chance to laugh about his need or lack thereof of hair care products.
When I married him, he had thinning hair that has in the last 5 ½ years thinned even more. He jokes all the time saying that by the time he is 50 he won’t need any hair care, because he won’t have any hair. He’s really one of the funniest people I know, and I can appreciate how he has accepted this little genetic fact of life with grace and style. The photos I’ve seen of his father always had him as bald on top, with a little hair on the sides, which I can imagine my husband may look like at 60. When he makes jokes about his lack of hair and not needing hair care, he tells me that it’s only hair. He’s right, it’s only hair.
