The other day I started shaving and about halfway through I realized that I was all out of aftershave. I was disappointed, because I had once again forgotten to order more online before I ran out. In my defense, I work a lot and sometimes I have been known to be absentminded. I ended up using some body lotion that my wife had sitting around to smooth out my face after I was done shaving. I came to one conclusion during this moment of truth: shaving without aftershave to follow up on really bites. My neck was prickly all day, my face was sore and the lotion helped, but it was not aftershave. I actually wrote a mental note to myself that day: don’t ever forget aftershave again my friend, I told myself in my head. Have you ever run out of aftershave when shaving? Sometimes the smaller things in life, like something as simple as aftershave balm, really do make all of the difference. Next time I take a blade to my face, you can bet I will double check the medicine cabinet beforehand.
