hair careWe as adults know that proper hair care is very important.  We understand that we need to use conditioners to keep the hair from breaking off on the ends, but it's also very important to teach our children about proper hair care.

I can remember brushing my daughter's hair when she was little; she would cry and cry because of all the tangles she'd gotten from playing so hard and not taking the time to brush her hair throughout the day.  If I had only taken more time to teach her some of the hair care tips that I've learned through the years, maybe she wouldn't had to suffer through our hair brushing battles.

Children will carrying on into adulthood what we teach them as children, so if we teach them helpful tips about hair care, then they can not only have beautiful hair, but save themselves from fighting with tangles all of their lives.

I think that swimming can be the most damaging on the hair, and my grandchildren love to swim like a fish, so after swimming I wash their hair with shampoo and then condition it afterward.  Also, whenever they wash their hair, I have them bring a large tooth comb into the shower and apply the conditioner, then have them slowly comb through the hair with the conditioner still in the hair.  This is one of the most helpful hair care tips I've learned.  Your children will be grateful you taught them pain saving hair care tips such as these!
